How It Works

Three steps between you and never being locked out again — with your identity verified at every step.

        1          Join & Complete Your Profile

              Choose your plan and create your account. You'll set a PIN and a security                             question that only you know.

​

                   

       2          Verify ID & Store Your Spare Key

​

               At your key pick-up appointment we check a valid driver's license to confirm                        your identity in person. Then your spare key goes into secure storage.

        3         Locked Out? Call, Verify, Get Back In

​​

              Call (213) 913-1171 and verify your PIN and security question over the phone.                         When our driver arrives, show your government ID before your key is handed                       over.

🔒 Every delivery requires two-step verification: your PIN by phone, and your government ID in person. Your key is never handed over without both.

What This Doesn't Include​

Keysurance does not unlock doors — you retrieve your key from the driver and use it yourself. Delivery covers a 10-mile radius from our storage location, with a flat $40 fee per delivery (still a fraction of a typical $200–300+ emergency locksmith bill).
